ESOG Honored for Excellence in Maternal Health at Pan African Surgical Healthcare Forum 2025
The Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) was formally recognized for its pivotal role in advancing surgical and maternal healthcare during the Pan African Surgical Healthcare Forum (PASHeF) 2025, held from November 5–7 at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa.
During a ceremony that showcased the joint initiatives influencing the future of healthcare in the region, PASHeF, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, awarded ESOG with a Certificate of Appreciation. This recognition reflects the organization’s ongoing contribution to surgical, obstetric, and gynecological services, not only in Ethiopia but also throughout the broader African medical community.
The forum, uniting healthcare leaders, policymakers, and medical professionals from around the continent, aimed at tackling essential deficiencies in surgical capacity and enhancing health results for women and children.
