Important Announcement – Joint ESOG–AFOG Conference & Revised Dates
Dear Esteemed Members,
The Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) is pleased to announce that our 34th Annual Conference will be conducted jointly with the African Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AFOG), an organization in which ESOG proudly serves as a founding member. Over the years, ESOG has contributed significantly to AFOG’s leadership, with several of our members serving as President and Executive Board members. This partnership also produced a successful joint ESOG 25th and AFOG 3rd Annual Conference previously held in Addis Ababa.
This year, we are honored to once again welcome AFOG delegates from across the continent as we host the ESOG 34th & AFOG 9th Joint Annual Conference at the Hilton Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa.
To facilitate this important collaboration and avoid overlap with the African Union Summit, the conference dates have been updated as follows:
- Preconference CME Sessions: February 4–6, 2026
- Joint ESOG–AFOG Annual Conference: February 7–8, 2026
- Venue: Hilton Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa
We kindly request members to take note of these changes and plan accordingly. Further details regarding abstract submissions, CME programs, and the full scientific agenda will be shared soon.
