Five BEmONC trainings are currently undertaken at Assosa, Dupti, Dessie, Hossana and Bishoftu hospitals. These trainings are organized in collaboration with Clinton Health Access Initiative.
Five BEmONC trainings are currently undertaken at Assosa, Dupti, Dessie, Hossana and Bishoftu hospitals. These trainings are organized in collaboration with Clinton Health Access Initiative.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health revised curriculum of the Integrated Refresher Training (IRT) Modules, a total of 16 Health Extension Workers have been trained for 10 days from March 17-26, 2015 at Bishoftu Town. Trainees were selected from the two project areas catchment Health Posts that is 10 from Butajira and 6 from Bishoftu project sites.
Out of the five standard IRT Modules nationally developed, Module 2- Community based Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (CMNCH) goes along with the project objectives, hence fully applied in the training package.
Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) and International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) have conducted the eighth eastern, central and southern Africa regional workshop on “Prevention of Unsafe Abortion Initiative” on March 23rd & 24th, 2015 in Addis Ababa. On the workshop 41 participants from 9 African countries and international agencies participated.
Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) conducted trainings on Basic PMTCT from March 5-12 and March 26-April 2, 2015 for health professionals from seven regions and from 67 health facilities.
