Webinar on Ultrasound

The Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) conducted a webinar on ultrasound in collaboration with Mindray on August 30, 2020 beginning 9 through 4:30 Local Time. Opened with remarks by Dr. Abdulfatah Abdulkadir, ESOG’s CME Committee Chairman, the webinar brought in Ibtissem Kara, Mindray Clinical Manager of Africa.

Mindray ObGyn Ultrasound Solutions was the session covered on the webinar followed by questions and answers from participants.

ESOG Conducted 3rd Webinar on Pandemic Challenges

The Ehtiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) conducted the second webinar on June 20, 2020. The webinar themed the same as the first one- COVID-19: Pregnancy and Women's Health- was moderated by Dr. Rahel Demisew, ESOG’s Executive Board member. Panelists included Dr. Misrak Tadesse, neonatologist at Fredrik Health Hospital, Dr. Balkachew Negatu, maternal fetal medcine specialist, Dr. Wondimu Gudu, maternal fetal medicine specialist and Fetiya Alferid, anesthesiologist.

Panelists included Dr. Wendossen Amogne, infectious diseases expert, Dr. Dawit Kebde, pulmonologist and critical care medicine specialist, and Dr. Abraham Fessehaye, an obstetrician and gynecologist.
